From His Lips: On Our Vision

From His Lips: On Our Vision

Every architect works according to a plan and is faithful to the plan, faithful to the blueprint. In the vision that God entrusted to Professor Zach Fomum and those He called with him, and to those who will be co-opted, there is a plan in the mind of God . Solomon put it clearly in describing his role as an executor, and his father David as a conceiver. He termed himself the hand of God and he termed his father the mouth of God. What God speaks through some, God accomplishes through others (2 Chronicles 6:4). Then he said: ‘Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, who with his hands has fulfilled what he promised with his mouth to my father David….’ We present in this book the vision of our work to all whom God has called along with us to execute the vision which He entrusted to His servant, Brother Zach, and which was faithfully shared with his co-workers.

Leading a Local Church

Leading a Local Church

This book “Leading a Local Church” is a compilation of the teaching of Professor Zacharias Tanee Fomum addressed to the saints in Yaoundé, Cameroon during a leadership training course. The book presents what it takes to lead a local church and what leadership is. The author explains the critical place of having a goal geared towards the saving of the lost in the building of a local church. The method for the accomplishment of the goal is the making of disciples. When a shepherd leaves the flock just for a day in pursuit of gain, he has put a knife into his heart and things will never be the same afterwards. A shepherd who loves the world has lost God, has lost the vision and has betrayed the sheep. According to the author the spiritual gift of leadership is the unusual ability to produce other leaders. The leader is the one who takes risks and break new grounds. Leadership is a call to provide a model. We recommend this book to you while praying that the Lord will use it to make of you a leader who has put on God enough to be able to lead a local church and raise others of his kind.

Revolutionary Thoughts on Spiritual Leadership

Revolutionary Thoughts on Spiritual Leadership

In this life-changing book, Professor Fomum enumerates some pivotal vectors that transform leadership into a revolution. The author sucintly brings out the differences between spiritual and secular leadership, the distinguishing characteristics of spiritual leadership, the mandatory perspectives for an impact-making spiritual leader, the steps on how to pass from an ordinary unto a revolutionary spiritual leader. The author paints the leader as a model in everything. He is the one who sees what God has in mind and takes the people of God in that direction. Such a leader’s heart is welded to each sheep. A successful spiritual leadership cannot be separated from the production of other leaders. Leadership is the overflow of a person’s devotion to God. The author also portrays revolutionary leadership as that leadership whose glory is in its identification with the glorified Christ in His suffering and humiliation, thereby distinguishing it from ordinary leadership.

Spiritual Aggressiveness

Spiritual Aggressiveness

This is a handbook for on-the-field and aspiring missionaries and leaders at all levels. In Spiritual Aggressiveness, Professor Z.T. Fomum shares powerful and inspiring insights on Spiritual Leadership in the model of Joshua. He covers a range of topics, including greatness through might in character and deeds, breaking barriers with total violence, commitment to hard work, teamwork, radical holiness for spiritual service, aggressive servanthood, and bleeding pursuit of God…. You will learn from Joshua's example as Fomum highlights the importance of servant leadership . He reveals that God recruits future leaders through one-man service, and shows how the principles of hard work, paying a price for God's purposes, and knowledge of God and His word are crucial for success. With contributions from field workers, Spiritual Aggressiveness offers practical insights into missions . It is a must-read for all leaders who wish to be equipped for the Lord's harvest on the eve of His imminent return. Read it and become the leader that God intends you to be.

The Character And Personality of The Leader

The Character And Personality of The Leader

Spiritual leadership is not automatically maintained! The leader is the one who pays the greatest price increasingly. You cannot neglect that which raised you to leadership and expect to remain as the leader. You became the leader because you loved and sought God. You were constantly in His presence. You were loyal to the leadership above you. If any of these things are now history, then you have lost the things that matter. If you are moving on today by virtue of the price you paid in the past, then you may have been demoted within the years from spiritual leadership. If your input now is regrettably smaller, then it could be that you are no longer God's leader. There are leaders who have lost their position before God and before man. Physically, they may still stand before man, but the leadership has moved hands. Some have moved aside even physically. With vivid examples from Scripture—such as Reuben, Eli, Moses, King Saul, David, Barnabas, etc.—the author shows clearly that talents, spiritual gifts, and a fine personality are no guarantee that a spiritual position will be retained. In the end, the author paints a portrait of how to jealously guard one's position and place in God's heart.

The Shepherd And The Flock: Leading a House Church

The Shepherd And The Flock: Leading a House Church

This book is a ROADMAP for Pastors and House Church Leaders! The training of church leaders has been one of Z.T Fomum's main areas of contribution to church growth. Leading a House Church was born out of the burden and need for competent pastors for the growing number of House Churches in the city of Yaounde. The lessons in the book are practical applications of the theory and doctrine developed in The Ministers and the Ministry of the New Covenant —The Challenge of Missions—also written by the author. According to the author, a pastor is a person who bears the flock on his heart . He focus on the character and personality of the one called to take the flock in their arms, as a nurse carries an infant, to bring them to the Promised Land of God. As a veteran on the subject, Z.T. Fomum presents a heart-to-heart exposé on the disciplines of the pastoral ministry, including a broad spectrum of both the practical aspects and the dynamics of leading a house church before God. If you desire to be a pastor, this book will help you on seeking and receiving the pastor's heart . We send them out with a heart-cry that they contribute to produce the type of leaders that are needed for the Lord's flock on the eve of His imminent return.
