The best laid plans always have to deal with the unexpected. Colonel Brazee has a plan. Go to the Imperium, steal a warship, and set up a new homeland on one of the new unclaimed spine worlds. How hard can that be? He knows no plan survives contact with the enemy, but exactly who is the enemy? The Imperium is not a friend, and what he’s going to do won’t endear him to them, but he has no intention of getting caught up in their war.
