But the summer before Jack's senior year in high school, he spends the whole summer away from Molly. When he comes back, not only has Jack changed physically, so has Molly's feelings for him. Unfortunately, on the first day of school, Jack's new good-looks attract the attention of the head cheerleader and most popular girl in school. Does Molly even stand a chance of winning Jack's love?

Elaine’s heart sank; it was the ghost of Marsha Swanson, the first victim and the girl who had been in her dream.Marsha shook her head, and tears began to roll down her cheek. “I’m cold, so cold,” she said. “Can you help me get warm?”She lifted pleading, tear-filled eyes to Elaine. She began to fade from view, but before she was totally gone, she turned back to Elaine. “Please help me,” she cried desperately, tears filling her eyes. “I’m so cold.”Elaine Wright has been called in to help solve a case of disappearing coeds from the college in Baraboo, Wisconsin. But Detective Ryan Wagner wanted more than Elaine’s expertise in criminology when he called on her to help solve the crime, he wanted the benefit of her psychic gift. And he wanted another chance to get to know the professor in a more personal way.

This short story was originally published in an anthology in 2015 called Lyrical Darkness. Since then, I've updated the story and added a few more chapters. Based on the Helen Reddy hit of the same name, the short-story Angie Baby tells the story of a teenaged girl with other-worldly abilities and her mother who tries to protect not only her daughter, but those who could fall into her daughter's trap.

Reena's Miracle is a heartwarming holiday story about the miracle of friendship. Nancy Schmidt was not interested in anything to do with Christmas. After the death of her husband three years ago, she found no reason to celebrate any longer. The last thing she needed in her life was a perky, overly-friendly, cookie-bearing new neighbor who wouldn't take no for an answer. Or, maybe that was exactly what she needed in her life.
