HIGH SCHOOL CAN BE A REAL MONSTER. Strange things are happening in the small town of Barton Springs. People are going missing, and the popular kids are acting a little…stranger than usual. 18-year-old Jack Creedy arrives in town to finish his final year of high school. Jack is a Hunter, born out of tragedy and honed by other Hunters into a weapon against the evils that lurk underneath normalcy. After all that, high school should be a cinch. But classes take a back seat when Jack recognizes the patterns around him in Barton Springs. His investigation leads him to Emma Taylor, a 17-year-old who can sense things that she can’t explain—things that only the strange boy in town can, and is willing to, understand. Thrown together, Jack and Emma uncover a growing evil amongst them—a dark force with a plan that threatens to consume all of Barton Springs, and possibly beyond. Welcome back to high school.
