Christy and Todd: College Years Books

Christy Miller is now an independent nineteen-year-old college student living in Switzerland, where she's been attending an international university. After being on her own for nearly a year, Christy is surprised and delighted when her two closest friends, Todd and Katie, come to Switzerland to spend the summer break traveling around Europe. The three of them have very different expectations for the trip that threaten to make the time together much less pleasant than it could be. The tension increases when time runs short, and Christy is overwhelmed with the realization that she will soon have to say good-bye to Todd all over again. Do they have the kind of love that will last until tomorrow?

Christy returns to Rancho Corona University for her junior year with lots of hopes and dreams for the days ahead. What could be better than having Katie, her best friend, as her roommate and seeing Todd, her boyfriend, on campus every day. Then, in the middle of the fun with her friends and the late-night studying, Christy's life is filled with complicated feelings and misunderstandings in her most important relationships. But even more unexpected is how her world stops spinning and "forever" takes on a deeper meaning when she finds herself in the quiet corner of a hospital room praying like she's never prayed before. Through it all, she discovers that she is ready for whatever comes, concluding each of her prayers with "as You wish."

Todd and Christy have different ideas about how soon they should marry and what direction their lives will take after their wedding day. As advice pours in from all direction, Christy wonders if their relationship will survive the strain of outside influences. Not only does she have a wedding to plan, but she's also striving to pass her final college exams in order to graduate. In the midst of it all, Christy discovers a startling truth about herself and her love that makes her wonder if she can promise Todd forever.
