Description

In Louisiana during the 1900s, the scars of the Civil War still mar the landscape. In the heart of the bayou, a place steeped in mystique and ancient secrets, Marie Arceneaux heals and stands as a guardian of her family's traditions. Embodying the spirit of the bayou, Marie is a young widow, who is on a quest to discover the secret of the old map her husband left her. Marcel LeBlanc, an enigmatic boat repairman with a gambling problem, carries secrets of his own and a connection to Marie's late husband's murder.
