“When I ran away, aged seventeen, I didn’t do it for the usual reasons...I did it because I was looking for adventure.” My name is Mira Brand, and I'm a Seeker – a treasure hunter who can cross between worlds seeking long-forgotten treasure hoards of ancient races. My home is London, but I work in the worlds beneath our own, seeking my fortune wherever I can find it. Which I find in all manner of places and with all sorts of people - such as the King of the Skies, for example. Grandiose name for a pompous man, but when he crossed my path on the hunt for an object of immeasurable importance, I didn’t think twice before starting a rivalry. But soon enough, our clashes began to escalate into serious business. And I was left trying to show the King of the Skies who the Queen of the bloody Seekers really is.
