Description

Ellen Harper is plunged deep into a murder investigation when she and her forensic department are called to the site of a double homicide involving corpses in the Chicago River. The second body, the daughter of a CPD Detective, also happens to be the subject of her dad's, Big Harv Patterson's, first case as a private detective. Was it a random act or was Ramona Ackles killed to send a message? The bizarre situation becomes more disturbing when Ellen and her new partner, the good-looking Aaron Holt, discover matching silver crosses belonging to both victims. The killer kills again and the mystery grows. Throw in money, power, and a fanatical preacher and the case becomes a tangled jungle.
