Description

Mike's nephew Ari was kidnapped and recovered by an unknown man. Mike helped get the ten-year-old all the way home . . . to find Ari's father dead, and the relatives circling . . . The police seem to be more interested in the rescuer than the kidnapping. Falk was the youngest detective on the investigation, that had just gone sideways, as it seems the boy had been rescued by an infamous assassin. As an important and wealthy man's relatives fight to control his estate and his only child . . . Falk is starting to realize his own family is entangled in the apparently natural death, the kidnapping . . . and the Recovery Agent.
