The second in an entertaining and hilarious paranormal series that takes place in a small town in Alaska populated by werewolves. Paranormal investigator Nick Thatcher comes to Grundy, Alaska, hoping to prove that the attacks the previous year were committed by werewolves. Nick begins his investigation by questioning Ranger Alan, and when Maggie Graham hears about Nick’s questions, her first instinct is to chase him off. Unaware of Maggie’s reasons to keep him at arm’s length, Nick falls hard for her, and Maggie can’t help but be fascinated by a man who is not bothered that she’s faster, stronger, and tougher. As if human/ werewolf dating issues weren’t complicated enough, Maggie and Nick are soon caught in the crossfire of an inter-pack war.
