Description

Detective Inspector Jim McCulloch is seriously injured in the line of duty. Being left a property in the Scottish Highlands by his uncle, Mort, Jim decides to take a medical retirement and relocate. His late uncle supposedly committed suicide, but as Jim and his wife and son are soon to find out, their new home stands in a forest clearing that is inhabited by a life form that wishes them nothing but harm, and was responsible for Mort’s death. Jim and his family are trapped, fighting for their lives against a horrifying creature from another world. Their only chance of survival is to find a way to outwit a being that appears to be indestructible, and can manipulate the minds of people and animals.
