Emperor Tryam is scheduled to kick Turan DeathEater’s behind in the arena. Citizens and foreigners are streaming into the capital to celebrate the emperor’s birthday and watch the epic battle. Skarr, Sera, and Micah are required to attend as well. Skharr postpones his visit until the last minute. He can’t leave until the babysitter arrives. When someone tries to assassinate the babysitter, Skharr and Horse take it upon themselves to find out what the assassin was looking for. He’d much rather do that than go to the capital anyway. Then the DeathEater Ax is stolen, and Theros portals Skharr straight to his clan’s mountain stronghold. What he finds there sends him and the DeathEaters running for the capital.
