The delightful family recipes contained on these pages have been handed down, l’dor v’dor–from generation to generation, by precious Blake and Lewin family members, some still with us, some of blessed memory. These connections are important; somehow, despite adversity, the Jews and Jewish family traditions have survived. As most of you know, misch pacha is important to me–I am who I am because of the influence and contributions of my family.
