REUNION WITH DANGER The way Longarm saw it, his old friend Jessie Starbuck was easy on his eyes, but hard on his health. When he answered her telegram he didn't reckon on a welcoming committee of local lawmen out to try her for murder...or a pack of fast-shooting outlaws with a hankering for a little low-down justice. Longarm just couldn't figure how such a pretty little lady could get herself tangled up in such bad business. And he had enough on his mind, like staying one step ahead of a vengeful gypsy clan, a couple of tribes of riled-up Indians, and a few crazy "white eyes" with Gatling guns.
