The Stitchin' Post yarn shop is central gossip in all of Linden Falls. Well, at least the Linden Falls Knitters like to keep everyone aware of all the comings and goings of the quaint Vermont town. There's no doubt the old King Building being renovated for a new artesian center is going to bring more business to the small town. Or so you'd think. Things take a turn when the new center starts to hurt the local small business owner's bottom line, making several suspects after a vocal local turns up dead. No amount of wishes on the Wishing Tree is going to bring him back to life, but finding the killer will bring life back to the town.
