Novel: Would there be love or war? they called it the Interact Program, and hailed it as the best, and last, hope for racially divided Harrison High School. the idea was that, for one month, black and white students would live as guests in one another's homes. This plan for learning all about peace and brotherhood looked good enough on paper. But suppose you have a kooky, sexually confused white kid who sleeps clutching a .357 Magnum automatic.
