The Royal Academy Books

A few days ago, I was chosen to attend the Royal Academy, a university for the wealthy, elite, and royal. The problem is, I'm none of those things. I'm unsure why I was selected to attend there, but I accept the invitation anyway. I definitely don't fit in, though. On top of being the only poor girl in the entire student body, I'm also drawing attention thanks to River Everson wanting to spend time with me. He’s one of the most gorgeous, wealthiest guys in school, and he's betrothed to another girl. And I kissed him, which wasn't my brightest idea. But guy issues aren't my only problem. People from my old life are searching for me to settle my father's debts, and someone at the Royal Academy is determined to make me drop out. I also soon learn that darkness and secrets lie everywhere, even in the glittering walls of royalty. This is a star-crossed lovers gothic romance. It includes mystery, a forbidden romance, secret societies, a dark academia setting, and a ton of steamy and sweet moments.

I'm the only northside student attending Royal Academy, and it's causing a lot of drama. Not only does it feel like someone broke into my room, but River is acting like he has a secret. Turns out he does, and it has to do with me. To complicate things even more, I'm starting to like River. A lot. But he's a royal and betrothed, so he's off limits. My heart has different ideas, though. I'm also becoming good friends with Finn, and I think I found a way to help out Noah. But I'm starting to question if anything about my past is real. I need answers quickly before one of my many enemies gets a hold of me.
