When the news of an impending extinction level meteor impact is made public, humanity struggles to find some way to survive. The government implements a continuity of life plan-but not all will be chosen. Fourteen-year-old Violet journals her life in the form of letters to her grandma. They start out sarcastic and funny, but soon Violet finds she has no choice but to take the situation at hand seriously. Her letters detail the frightening and heartbreaking event unfolding before her eyes-the anticipation of a global catastrophe.
