Larry Chicken comes clean as an FBI undercover agent and rescues Eddie who then stops Mr Big's dramatic escape attempt by using his splurge gun and the refrain 'Freeze Turkey!'.

Eddie's new case is helping a French poodle, called Fifi Bernard, rescue her kidnapped husband, Saint. But it's all a set-up. The dogs have sold him out to Mr Big who's out to get Eddie because the duck detective has put so many of his men in jail. Mr Big's plan of revenge is to dye Eddie a permanent passionate pink - and Eddie is tied up next to a splurge bomb, listening to the countdown. But, in true detective fashion, he manages to escape at the last minute and turn the tables on the bad guys.
