Jenny and Judy are not sure that the archaeological holiday, with thier uncle and aunt at a dig in Norfolk, is going to be very much fun, even with thier cousin Derry's pleasant company - and the joys of living in a double-decker caravan. But the interesting and valuable finds attract newspaper reports and other visitors, some of whom are thieves, so that the twins soon find plenty of excitement. The two girls, Derry, and Brian - a keen young reporter - help to guard the dig. Some of the ornaments they try to hide but one bundle is stolen. However, with the lively and resourceful twins in action, no thief can be successful for long! Thanks to them all the finds are on show in the museum at the end. Readers will be quite ready to believe Jenny and Judy when they declare that they have learnt a lot, and that it has been much more fun than anything they have done before. (Taken from dust jacket)
