He returns to Cambridge and tells Beatrice what she’s missing. But will that be enough to make her come back? Arsen is rotting in jail and playing by the rules for the first time in his life. But Silke is all he can think about. He made the right decision cutting her out of his life, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t break his heart in the process. But when he has a visitor, he’s surprised to see it’s not Silke, but her father. What does he want? Trinity starts her new job, but it’s not as glamorous as she thought it would be. Her boss is a nightmare. But she has Slade to support her, who’s always there to lend her a shoulder. Every guy in the office can’t stop talking about her wicked beauty and endless curves. Not interested, he focuses on his work. But when he meets her by chance in a coffee shop, he understands why everyone is so fascinated with her. Trinity gets her own apartment, and Slade immediately spends every waking moment there. When Trinity gets sick, Slade is there to take care of her. But he starts asking odd questions about Skye’s new friend, and Trinity begins to wonder if Cayson put him up to it. Roland’s jealous that Conrad is so close to Theo. They do everything together, and now they even live together. When Roland discovers what Conrad and Theo are doing together, he blows a gasket and marches off. When Conrad chases him down, they finally talk about what’s bothering Roland. Will that bring them closer together?

Skye begins to believe that she and Cayson can never work out their differences. The rest of the gang becomes just as irritated with Cayson, and Skye feels better knowing she isn’t alone. Despite the advances the handsome Ward makes toward her, she insists there’s only one man who will ever have her heart. But that changes when Skye spots Cayson doing something she can never forgive. Cayson keeps going back and forth in his debate about Skye. He knows he loves her, but is that enough to put the past behind him? When Sean comes to his apartment for another talk, he tells Cayson something that will forever change his life. And it might be enough to get his head on straight. Roland’s life is coming together when he’s offered a promotion at his job. With a paycheck coming in and enough money to get his own place, everything is falling into place. But when he attends a party with Heath, Skye makes a comment about Heath that he can’t shake off. Conrad turns to his father for yet another favor, but he isn’t sure if his dad will help him once again.

Cayson and Skye are finally back together, and both agree the end of the world will be the only thing to rip them apart again. However, their bliss doesn’t last long because Cayson despises Ward. It’s almost impossible for him to be remotely polite when Ward is anywhere near Skye. Skye tells him he needs to get over it, and she won’t put up with his unfounded jealousy. Will that be enough to set him straight? Roland comes to a crossroads in his life when he realizes his feelings toward Heath aren’t exactly platonic. Confusion overtakes him, and he isn’t sure what he feels. He turns to Jasmine, a friend, for help. But her words only leave him even further in skepticism. Slade forms his band, and when they record their first album, one of the guys makes a nasty comment about Trinity, noting her features. Rage washes through Slade, and before he can stop himself, his bandmate is on the floor. It dawns on him how much he loves Trinity, and for the first time, it doesn’t scare him. Trinity attends Slade’s first concert, and she isn’t happy when all the girls are just as attracted to Slade as she is. Bras are thrown on the stage and girls flash him. But Slade assuages all her fears with a simple act. Thomas is trying to fight the desire he has for his secretary, but it’s becoming more difficult. After asking her to lunch, he’s irritated that she’s even more interesting than he realized. Why does she have to be the one woman he can’t have? Theo is determined to make amends for his behavior toward his brother, so he stops by the office again with a bag of cookies and an apology. Thomas is angry, but he finally stops fighting. He agrees to an afternoon with Theo, and Theo is ecstatic. Arsen is finally out of prison, thanks to Ryan, the closest thing he’s ever had to a father. Instead of going back to his old ways, he decides to make a real man out of himself and put his life back together. Being without Silke makes him realize just how much he needs her. Determined to be a man she deserves, he decides to be different than he used to be. However, Ryan makes him promise he’ll stay away from his daughter. It makes Arsen realize he’ll have to work for Ryan’s permission. But he’s up to the challenge. Silke attends an art show and falls in love with a single painting on display. While trying to examine it, an interested stranger approaches, looking at her and treating her in a way she’s never experienced before. When she turns him down and tries to get away, she realizes he possesses a quality that she can’t reject.

Thomas attempts to keep his distance from his secretary, Rome, but a night out for the company leads to dangerous territory. Thomas realizes Rome understands him in a way no one else ever has, and that makes her irresistible. This attraction leads to a mistake he can never take back. Conrad deals with the fact Beatrice is busy all the time, and he keeps a straight face as he supports her even though he misses her. On a rare night out, Beatrice makes a suggestion Conrad doesn’t expect. Slade and Trinity go on vacation to Florida, but their trip turns out not to be as relaxing as they hoped. Arsen is still working hard to put his life back together, but when he accidentally breaks one of Ryan’s rules, he fears he’ll be kicked out for good. Will Ryan forgive him? Or will this be the end of his help? Silke gets to know Pike better and realizes he’s an old soul. He treats her well and makes her happy. But Arsen comes into her mind at the most random times. She begins to wonder if he’ll ever really leave.

Clementine joins Ward in London, where she stays at his townhouse for a week. During her stay, she meets an unexpected guest while Ward is at work, and it creates an awkward situation. Slade confronts Trinity about their situation, and an angry argument breaks out. Slade says he’s given Trinity everything he has and marriage is just a meaningless piece of paper. Trinity feels differently, and their argument continues indefinitely. How will they resolve their fight? Arsen works at the shop until Ryan finally decides he’s ready to manage it on his own. Reluctant at first, he eventually takes control and realizes he can handle the business. That leaves one step in his plan. He has to see his daughter and get her back into his life. But will it be so easy? Cayson and Skye feel tense since Slade and Trinity are dealing with their relationship. They want to help, but they don’t know how to intervene.

Arsen spends more time with Abby and begins to realize the true meaning of being a parent. The only person he thought he ever loved was Silke, but he understands that his love for Abby shadows everything he’s ever felt for another person. Slade and Trinity remain broken up, but they can’t stay away from each other. Every time they run into each other, the tensions run high. Everyone can feel it. Skye eats like a horse as usual, but when someone makes a joke that she might be pregnant, Cayson stiffens in fear. When he bluntly asks her if she is, her answer is no. But Cayson isn’t convinced. Arsen and Silke are starting a new relationship, and their compatibility and playfulness are back. Arsen can’t believe he finally found the two women he loves more than anything, and he can’t imagine his life getting any better than it already is. But is Silke ready for the level of commitment he wants. Or does she still need more time? Slade asks Arsen to hang out since he assumes they’ll be brothers-in-law someday. Sean’s killer finally makes his move at the most unsuspecting time. Sean will be pushed to the limit and have to fight to survive. But when his entire family is on the line what will he do? How will he protect them? Or will he lose everything he loves most?

Heath is being pushed to the limit. Roland refuses to fess up to his parents about their relationship. Knowing Ander is willing to give him what he wants, he feels confused. Is there no future with Roland? Should he give up before he gets hurt even more? Skye is injured so she can’t fulfill her maid of honor duties. So Slade steps in, and it’s an event the gang will never forget. Conrad continues to spend time with Lexie, but the longer he spends time with her, the more he wants from her. Rather than leaving after hitting the sheets, he wants to stay. Whenever he’s not with her he thinks about her. But what does that mean?

The gang heads to Vegas for Trinity’s bachelorette party and things get a little crazy. Two people kiss when they should keep their lips to themselves. The police catch Slade doing something deemed obscene. And Silke and Arsen say and do things they regret. Clementine and Ward are dancing around their relationship. It’s clear Ward wants a happily ever after. But when Clementine still can’t give that to him, Ward hurts. But will Clementine change her mind when she realizes every other girl in Manhattan wants him for her own?

The big day finally arrives, and Slade and Trinity will commit to one another in front of all their friends and family. But will the day go smoothly? Or will disaster strike?

Slade and Trinity spend their honeymoon in paradise, but the vacation doesn’t go exactly as planned. Slade realizes Trinity won’t be taking his last name, and when he takes a look at their bank account, he’s surprised by a sudden change in funds. Sean and Scarlet decide to sell the house so they can move on from the devastation that infected their lives like a disease. But they aren’t looking forward to telling the kids what happened. They know it will be heartbreaking. Clementine encounters an old flame, and what he says changes her bad opinion of him slightly. But she isn’t sure if she should tell Ward about the meeting. He’s a very jealous man. When Beatrice shows up on Conrad’s doorstep unannounced, he isn’t sure why she’s there. But when the tears fall down her face, he realizes something bad has happened—something really bad.

Arsen and Lydia continue to butt heads, and it doesn’t seem like the tension will ever dissipate. Silke will always be ostracized from their relationship, and Arsen keeps putting up with Lydia because he doesn’t have a choice. Lexie is miserable over her breakup with Conrad, and Conrad is doing even worse. Their mutual misunderstanding has led to heartbreak on both sides. Things look more hopeless than ever. But when Conrad runs into her at the sandwich shop during lunch, there’s hope things can be turned around. Cayson gets great news at work, but when he understands everything it entails, he’s no longer thrilled about it. The news will affect his relationship with Skye—forever. Slade and Trinity are still in the honeymoon phase, but when Slade discovers Trinity's intention to make him sign a prenup, he starts to doubt the strength of their marriage. Does Trinity doubt they’ll last? Should Slade doubt too?

Conrad doesn’t take Lexie for granted again, and he becomes more possessive and clingy. When he’s not with her, he loses his mind. When Lexie notes it, he doesn’t understand what she’s referring to. Trinity is still afraid to walk the streets alone, so Slade walks her home every night. While Slade doesn’t mind doing this for his wife, he doesn’t want her to feel that way. So he decides to teach her self-defense. Cayson tells Sean he’s planning on leaving for a three-month journey, but Sean isn’t happy. Actually, he’s downright mad. How will he handle the situation? Clementine fears Jeremy will ruin her life by telling her family the truth. With every passing day, she waits for the inevitable. Will it come to pass? Or will Ward figure out a way to stop it?

Trinity develops an elaborate plan to get Slade to rethink their divorce. She knows the only way to get him back is to seduce him. Whenever they’re intimate, Slade can’t close his heart off to her. For him, it’s impossible. But she needs the help of Cayson and Arsen to make it happen. Sean has an interview with a reporter, and when he learns that the press knows Roland is gay, it complicates his life. His company and reputation are on the line. But what will Sean do? Will he stand by his son and support him? Or will he put his company first? Conrad is happy with Lexie, and he begins to fall harder for her. Expensive gifts and tender words of love are always directed at her. When Mike pressures Conrad to seal the deal and get down on one knee, Conrad says he’s not ready for it. And when he mentions she’s infertile, Mike’s attitude completely changes. Cayson and Skye hear back from the realtor, but the news isn’t good.

Conrad finally convinces Lexie that he should meet her parents. But when that moment comes, he understands why she was so hesitant about it—and her parents have nothing to do with it. Jared has a visitor in his office above the bar. She’s an old flame, a woman he used to cheat on his wife with. Just looking at her makes him feel sick. Even though he’s free to do whatever he wants, he refuses to touch a woman. Anytime he thinks about it, he just hates himself more. Sean does the interview and photo shoot for the magazine, but he requires one condition before he commits to it. Without it, nothing will fall through. Abby’s teacher makes another move, and Arsen just brushes it off. There’s nothing he can do to change the situation so he keeps it to himself. But when Silke asks him about it, what will he do? Skye has her bridal shower, but it’s not nearly as exciting as the one Slade hosted. And she and Cayson are approved for their house. Everything seems to be coming together.
