Ebsa and Ra'd join Paer, Ajha, and Fean on the surveillance world, monitoring the actions of the aggressive Helaos government. But with Ajha overdue on a scout trip to the Cannibal World, it's up to the youngsters to stop the Helaos and try to find Ajha.

They didn't warn him about the giant poisonous spiders. Ebsa joins Paer on an archaeological project seeking to discover who built, and what destroyed a civilization on a cross-dimensional world just a few centuries ago. But the spider attacks were . . . not that bad. It was when they drove to the coast to help an injured man that they discovered just how bad it could get.

Ra'd knew the main reason he was being assigned to the Embassy World was to get him away from headquarters. But since this was where his girlfriend and her father lived he was far from reluctant. And if the ministry intel section didn't want him, he'd just have to be a simple security guard. But few things are simple for a Warrior of the One.
