Description

Farm girl Rose Magee is delighted to spend the day with wheeler-dealer Joseph Thompson when he goes into town to sell the fish he purchased from her father. Joseph is intrigued by the girl who can hook a worm, pull in a fish, and clean it without being the least bit squeamish. When she discovers he has never learned to fish, she gives him a lesson. Sparks fly between them, but Rose's father puts the skids on this budding romance because he doesn't think Joseph knows some of the essentials skills that a man should possess. Is it possible for Joseph to prove his "manliness" in order to have Mr. Magee's blessing to court his daughter?
