Environmental activist AJ Palladino, first encountered in Rock Bottom, is no stranger to juggling work and family. But when she's asked to help solve a potentially catastrophic case involving a nuclear power plant in South Carolina that is plagued by a series of unexplained mishaps, it takes all of her strength to keep everything from crashing down on her.Soon AJ's simple business trip turns disastrous as she uncovers the source of the plant's accidents and, after an approaching hurricane prevents her from returning home, her son disappears.
