My old boyfriend was a hockey player and I left him behind in Ohio to pursue my dream of being a singer-songwriter in Austin, Texas. The apartment I was able to afford when I got to Austin, was close to the University of Texas and on the day I moved in, I discovered my new home came with its share of hockey players. Deja vu...all over again. One blond guy, I especially didn't like, Howie Lintz, lived at the end of the hall on my floor. He was trouble from the get-go, and the more he tried to get my attention, the less I liked him. Music was my first love, and I had no room in my heart for a hockey player, no matter how cute he was.
