A Nov. storm topples a tree on Joan's property and unearths a skeleton wearing a ring last seen 90 years ago. A young woman appears at Joan's doorstep.
It's Christmas and Priscilla wants to find the perfect gifts for her friends and family. At a local art store a man approaches them that seems to know Joan. Priscilla doesn't trust him. Why hasn't Joan talked about him before?

Priscilla sees a small plane go down over the marsh. When she calls 911 they say there have been no distress calls and no planes reported missing. Once she finds the plane she finds the pilot gone.

During this time an elderly Alzheimer's patient says he knows how it was done, but doesn't remember who or when. The thief wants to get rid of the elderly man before he remembers too much.
Virginia is a scholar of the Vineyard history as well as a recluse. The island is abuzz when she books a library lecture with a local eccentric. The evening of the event Virginia is a no show. The valuable museum artifacts in her possession are also missing. As Priscilla delves into Virginia's mystery another puzzle emerges involving a cemetery.
Final countdown for Priscilla's daughters wedding. Priscilla also becomes involved with the wild food chef apprentice program. One by one the candidates become eliminated through mistakes and accidents.
