Koheleth Speaks: Ecclesiastes 3 and 4

The author faces the fact that Christians are now in the minority is most westernized countries, and much of the rest of the world. As such we live in a secular society with a desire for pleasure and a fear of boredom. How do Christians survive? And how do they strive for Christian values? Drawing upon Ecclesiastes - “one of the most modern books in the entire Scripture” - he advocates that Christians would move society closer to Christian values if Christians met unbelievers where they (the unbelievers) are, and if Christians were prepared to settle for “better” solutions … rather than going for the “best” or “nothing” scenario.
