Sherlock Holmes is considered by many to be the greatest fictional detective by many, having solved many cases throughout the course of his adventures. With Watson at his side he is able to go up against thieves, murderers, and evil masterminds. The method he uses is known as logical deduction, and this was a unique idea in literature at the time.
