Suffering from grief a year after losing her fiancé, Whitney Emerson is startled when a strange gypsy in an empty restaurant plops down across from her. It was a hot June day and she tells Whitney that she has two things for her and Whitney must complete them by Christmas. Then she leaves a note and disappears. At the same time in Christmas Town, Maine, Trenton (Trent) Knowles, owner of an amusement park, discovers a booth with Fortune Teller written on it. He'd never hired anyone to tell fortunes. The gypsy woman in the booth tells him his future involves saving a life. She disappears without telling whom he's to save. But a clue arrives in the form of a mysterious note that could lead him to the answer.
